Activities/Attractions: The beautiful and ancient Italian city of Florence, capital city of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, is situated not far from the Apennines, in a fertile and flourishing plain surrounded by pleasant hills dotted with villas and castles, placed on the banks of the River Arno, which divides the city into two equal parts. Florence, known throughout the world as the "beautiful" city, is the home of the Grand Duke and the Royal family, who reside in the magnificent Pitti Palace, named after Luca Pitti, the wealthy citizen who had it built.

We are very happy to welcome students of Italian who would like to practice speaking our language or to study it more thoroughly. To make your stay truly exceptional we will be happy to accompany you or to indicate to you delightful excursions in the surrounding countryside, or if you prefer, concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events in Florence and the nearby cities of Tuscany, easily reached by car.
