General Information: No. 40 B&B is a late Victorian (1896) property situated in the quiet and fashionable Bootham area of York, England ... a 5 minute gentle stroll to the old city walls and a 10 minute stroll from the remarkable Minster and the many attractions in the city centre.
No 40 is fully centrally heated and has two letting rooms - Rose and Daisy. The ambience is one of quality, taste and warm yet unobtrusive hospitality. Our aim is to provide guests with a relaxing base from which to experience this wonderful city and, if you have the time, the marvellous Dales and Moors of North Yorkshire or the nearby coast.
