Activities/Attractions: Brussels is a little bit of everything: an agglomeration of 19 communes forming one of the three Regions of the federal Belgian state; the capital of the Kingdom of Belgium; the headquarters of the French and Flemish Communities.

Brussels is also the home of the European Commission and the Council of the European Union.

  • Manneken Pis:  "Brussels' Oldest Citizen", this bronze statue of a little boy and a fountain was designed by Jerome Duquesnoy in 1619, and has become a familiar (and irreverent) symbol of the city
  • Grand-Place: Considered one of the most beautiful medieval squares in Europe, the ornate Grand Place is the center of Brussels, where many historic buildings dating from the 17th century are located
  • Horta Museum: This is not a museum in the traditional sense: the museum itself is actually the house that Victor Horta built for himself in the late 1890s, which truly exemplifies the Art Nouveau style that made Horta into one of the most acclaimed architects in Belgium
  • Atomium: Located in Exhibition Park, where the 1958 World's Fair was held, this odd-looking building, 335-feet high, is a perfect replica of an iron molecule enlarged 165 billion times

... and much, much more.

Le Rovignon B&B Brussels Belgium Loft

"My sister, her husband and I recently travelled to Brussels in March 2003 and stayed 3 nights at Le Rovignon. We were EXTREMELY pleased with the quality of stay we received there. Both rooms and bathroom were very spacious and clean and the hospitality from both Adi and Caroline was wonderful, beyond expectation. We felt extremely welcomed. Each room was equipped with multiple brochures and travel information to help us plan our valuable site-seeing time and Adi was very knowledgeable about each attraction. Le Rovignon is fantastically located less that 3 blocks to public transportation and is ideally situated for site seeing. If you are looking to experience Brussels culture, there is no better way to do so than staying at Le Rovignon, a true European Bed and Breakfast."

"I stayed in Brussels for 6 days at le Rovignon. Adi and Caroline are two very interesting and kind people, and they set a very warm and comfortable bed and breakfast. Whoever is interested in having a nice stay and discovering the multicultural, multivision and multifaceted Belgian society should have a nice breakfast with Adi."

"The hosts provided me with valuable information about points of interest in Belgium which made my visit very efficient and helped a lot for better understanding the culture."

"I have stayed at this property twice in the last year, and consider it to be one of the best values in Europe. The Duplex room is huge, the building has character, and the hosts are very accommodating and interesting conversationalists. The location is quiet and 2 blocks from tram service that provides easy access to the city centre and public transportation network."

"I have been travelling for work for over 15 years. While it is professionally interesting, it is also tiring and lonely, especially for a family person. I assure you that Caroline and Adi's hospitality and warmth was deeply felt. Also, they have two children who are absolutely delightful."
