Activities/Attractions: Puglia, or Apulia as it is called in English, is Italy's boot heel, its southeastern most region. If you have already toured the northern part of Italy and are looking for something equally fascinating, completely different and much less crowded, this is a wonderful area to consider.
It offers at least one excellent archeological museum, a host of cathedrals dating back to the 10th century, several deserted - and thus highly atmospheric - Greek and Roman ruins, a gleaming necklace of lively fishing villages, one of Europe's largest forests, a chain of medieval hill towns, and some of the very cleanest beaches and water in the Mediterranean.
Puglia offers tourists more than 800 km of coastline, surrounded by vast expanses of wheat fields, gardens, olive groves and vineyards, all flourishing under the glorious Mediterranean sun.
There is one other attraction that you will see only in Apulia, and that is i trulli. Whitewashed cones made of stones held together without mortar, they are visible in almost every wheat field and olive grove, where they serve as miniature barns. But they are at their most picturesque when clustered together in the hundreds, to form a town. This is Alberobello, and it's a wonderful site you will never forget.
By request we can arrange culinary demonstrations of local genuine food and meals. You will taste the real taste of our Mediterranean home made Olive Oil and Wine. And we can arrange itineraries to local Castles, Churches and antiques like "Trulli" houses and more.

"Lovely quiet spot for an end of March holiday. Need a car to get around though - the Italians have not really started holidaying from the North at this time so places right on the beach are closed or quiet. Lovely apartment and Rino and Rita are very friendly. They see to your needs, without imposing, and are great for suggesting things to do and places to eat. Great to sit in Italian restaurants, surrounded by Italians and their families. Food prices are very reasonable - Ostuni is only 10 minutes away if you want large town atmosphere, with lots of character. Don't forget the phrase book, although everyone seems happy to try a little English."
"We came from far away to find the most friendly and beautiful place. Thank you for the wonderful memories."
"We enjoyed out time in Puglia, it was very relaxing, clean and quite."
