"We stayed at the Swiss Chalet Motel in Paihia at the Bay of Islands. We found it to be very clean with plenty of living space in the studio rooms. It had all the facilities that were advertised in the brochure. We also had the pleasure of staying in the honeymoon suite for the final two days of our stay, and once again, all as advertised. What isn't advertised is the warm welcome we received from Maureen who runs the office, and who works to ensure that all your needs are seen to, as well as ensuring that all your trips and excursions are organised at no extra cost. We also found that it was cheaper to live at the Swiss Chalet than at most other accommodations." "We recently had a pleasant stay at the Swiss Chalet Lodge. The rooms were adequately furnished / equipped and spacious, but primarily they were spotlessly clean. The motel is ideally situated within a two-minutes walk away from Paihia's shops restaurants and bars, but as it is just off the main street the rooms were quiet. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and they were helpful in arranging and recommending trips and activities in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay in the Bay of Islands!" |
