Activities/Attractions: Marigot Bay has been photographed so many times that first time tourists often experience a jolt of recognition. Not surprising. This peaceful landscape of swaying palms and sparkling clear water also caught the eye of film makers who used the bay as a location for the filming of the original Dr Doolittle starring Rex Harrison in 1967.
Surrounded by lively bars and restaurants Marigot is a special place - a beautiful, tranquil haven ideal for those who want to chill out and have some fun at the same time. Marigot Bay has a terrific beach. Natures Paradise is set high up on a hill for great views, so walking down to the beach is about 15 minutes, walking back up is about 30 minutes. The beach is on the north side of the bay and there are no cars or roads.
The nearest town is Castries, which is the capital of St. Lucia. It is about 30 minutes by car. There are four very good restaurants and two great restaurants in Marigot Bay. It’s a culinary paradise.
"We would thoroughly recommend Nature’s Paradise. It was like a little home-from-home for us, we felt very comfortable and happy there. If you don’t like big resorts with loads of people around you, this is definitely a good place for you to stay. You can decide how much or how little you want to do with no tour guides constantly telling you what you should and shouldn’t be doing. Wanda and David were great hosts and we can definitely see ourselves going back there in the future."
"This lodging is by far the prettiest setting on the island. The view of the Caribbean Sea is stunning, which is the first thing you see each morning from your balcony. Wanda has done an unbelievable job with the tropical garden, which looks professionally landscaped. The swimming pool is such a treat and so relaxing after a day of adventure on the roads of St. Lucia. The prices are so reasonable, the setting so perfect, and hosts so accommodating, we can’t believe anyone would want to stay at a resort. It was the perfect escape from a snow/ice-filled frigid Midwestern winter."
"If you are looking for a wonderful hotel in St. Lucia, look no further. My wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean (we spend two weeks every year on a different island). Of all the places we've stayed, Nature's Paradise was simply the best."
"Natures Paradise will stay in our heats forever! Dave and Wanda are very special people who truly care about their guest. Very personal. Lovely clean cottages, beautiful surroundings and extremely helpful on tips of getting around the island, what to see and the hidden treasures. Couldn't ask for anything more."
"My husband and I stayed at Nature's Paradise for five days in May. The grounds at the cottages are simply magnificent. David and Wanda have worked hard to carve out a little piece of paradise for others to enjoy."
"David and Wanda are the best hosts you could ask for. Friendly, easy to talk to and very helpful. There is so much to see! In our 10 day stay we still had a fair bit left to see, so I guess a return trip is required. Needless to say, we'll definitely stay at Nature's Paradise again."
"Nature's paradise was the most ideal spot on the planet for us - the extraordinary natural beauty of the island - echoed in the tropical paradise that I like to think of as Wanda's Garden - We stayed in the Avocado cottage with breath taking views of the bay and sunsets painted by seraphim - Our cottage was comfortable and kept impeccably - we received clean linens every other day."

"Natures Paradise was just what we were looking for and it was perfect in every way. David and Wanda were wonderful host who made our trip so much more enjoyable. They were helpful in everyway and they serve a wonderful breakfast each morning. The view from the porch of our cottage was breathtaking. You couldn't get this kind of view and service from a big resort, they make you feel special and that's exactly what we felt while staying there."
"We had a great stay here, the cottage (Avocado) was lovely and peaceful with a nice sea view. We found David and Wanda excellent hosts. A lovely fresh breakfast of fruits, breads and pastries is laid out every morning with the exception of Sundays and it was always a nice opportunity to talk with the other guests and with David and Wanda who were very knowledgable about the Island and full of suggestions of places to explore and where to go."
