Activities/Attractions: The friendly, picturesque community of Jasper, Alberta is the heart of Jasper National Park, the largest and most northerly of Canada's Rocky Mountain national parks and one of a group of four national parks and three provincial parks which together are designated by UNESCO as the Canada Rocky Mountain Park World Heritage Site.

Jasper is a world-renowned vacation destination offering first-class visitor attractions, activities, facilities and services. The town nestles in a rugged, unspoiled wilderness of unparalleled beauty: towering snow-capped mountain peaks provide the backdrop for evergreen forests, pristine glacier-fed lakes and waterfalls.

We are 5 minutes from the entrance to Jasper National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wildlife and wildflowers are plentiful, watch for deer right out your window, feed the chick-a-dees, woodpeckers, and hummingbirds. We are close to:

  • hiking trails
  • the hottest Hot-Springs in the Rockies
  • first class golfing at Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course (named the best in Canada)
  • canoeing
  • fishing is great in the many mountain lakes
  • go white-water rafting
  • hike in the valley or up to the peaks
  • cross-country ski right out the backdoor in winter
  • drive up to Marmot Basin, about 1 hour away

"The Gingerbread Cabin is a gem, from the decor, location and layout this cabin is a cozy home away from home experience. The open concept with a wood fire place in the corner of the living room adds warmth and comfort! All the essentials to make you feel at ease and ready to settle in have been neatly stashed away behind the cabinet doors. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to enjoy great scenery and quiet, private accommodations!"

"This delightfully charming cabin in Folding Mountain village is the perfect getaway for a weekend or week! Fully equipped kitchen, sleeps 5, with a fully functional wood burning stove. Just 35 minutes east of the Jasper townsite, and is everything we hoped for our weekend getaway."

"Love love this cozy little cabin. We booked it for my 25th Birthday getaway and we were surprised to see how wonderful it was. Nice owners, we really loved how everything was wood detailed and how it also had wood burning fireplace. We will be back again soon."
