"Just returned from Renvyle House and from start to finish it was incredible. The scenery was fantastic as was the food and service."
"After two nights there, my wife and I, and the other two couples we were traveling with, shared the opinion that Renvyle House is a very special place. I wouldn't describe it as luxurious as it is a bit dated but I would also say that it is one of the most comfortable places that we have ever stayed. The food and service is excellent and the look and feel of the hotel all adds up to a wonderful Irish experience."
"We loved the incredible scenic location on the Atlantic Ocean and the fact it was in the Connemara loop but out of the way exactly what we were looking for. Our package included 4 breakfasts and 3 gourmet dinners and that they were, absolutely first class. The onsite bar was a great place to meet other guests and some locals that stay off season. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They even printed out driving directions for us to Dublin for when we left. We would love to come back in the spring when all the amenities are open."

"We are preparing now, to travel again to this enchanted place, and already the delicate, sweet scent of peat fires and the low murmur of the great ocean beckons us to the sturdy warmth of Renvyle House."
"I had no want of warmth to complain of at Renvyle ... a room ten foot square ... A four post bedstead and the usual welcome to a stranger - a bright turf fire." - Henry Blake in his first visit to Renvyle in 1810
"When Yeats was on his honeymoon he came to stay with us at Renvyle, a lovely sea-grey house in Connemara on the edge of the Atlantic at the extreme edge of Europe."
"It was great, its like an old worlde county house hotel, ideal for walking or fishing or golfing holidays. Beautiful food and lovely turf fires. Its the kind of Hotel where you can wear your jeans and socks during the day and just sit beside the fire reading a book and sipping a pint of the black stuff. Its informal, relaxed and friendly. There is lots to do in the area, plenty of walks and golf courses. Most of the people we met there were repeat stays, and we hope to be another one soon!"
"The food is absolutely outstanding ... The charm this place has just cant be topped. The peat fires, gorgeous views, country air, friendly staff - its all top notch. I absolutely love this place."
"If you're looking for a hotel away from it all and excellent food you must look this lovely place up! We can't wait to go again."
