Activities/Attractions: Founded, according to legend, by Romulus and Remus in 753 B.C., Rome was first the centre of the Roman Republic, then of the Roman Empire, and it became the capital of the Christian world in the 4th century.

Today's Rome is a vibrant and lively city with reminders of its past everywhere. In Rome you will encounter Ancient Rome, medieval and Renaissance buildings and fountains, great museums, and a modern Italian city. Central Rome, just for starters, features:

  • The Imperial Forums
  • The Mausoleum of Augustus
  • The Mausoleum of Hadrian
  • The Pantheon
  • Trajan's Column and the Column of Marcus Aurelius
  • The religious and public buildings of papal Rome

"Would absolutely stay again. Small, cute and clean B and B right next to Termini. Was warned by colleagues that it was in a dodgy neighborhood but did not find that at all. Try to rent the loft room. Owner is great, as is his staff. Although our trip itself was tumultuous...the B and B was great. Next time in Rome will definitely stay again."

"... Our rooms were clean and well kept with someone coming to change the linens and clean every day. They provided comfortable rooms and large by European standard bathrooms. We ate breakfast in the shared kitchen every morning, provided to us by the owner and that too was cleaned up daily ... Our daily transportation, day train trips and eventually our departures were facilitated by the closeness of the termini. It was the perfect place to relax after hours of sightseeing, walking and discover Rome. Very reasonably priced if you are willing to forego the "amenities" of a hotel, which we were and we enjoyed our stay tremendously and will stay there upon our return."

"Great place - biggest rooms and bathrooms for our whole 3 week trip to Europe. The outside of the building and area looks a bit seedy (lots of graffiti) but once you make it up to the apartment it is really nice. There is a kitchen and fridge to use which is great. Its right across from the train station - be sure to go to the grocery store at the bottom of the train station to get cheap food and drinks."

"We just returned from a fantastic 10 day trip to Rome, a very pleasant vacation which was made even better by our great accommodations: Sixtythree B&B! Honestly, you can't go wrong with this place: the rooms and bathrooms are newly renovated and super fresh and clean, they look exactly as they are shown on their website."
